CD review SEVENTH VEIL "White trash attitude"

Veröffentlicht am 3. August 2013 von Markus W. in Seventh Veil, Hardrock, Sleaze Rock

Seventh Veil is a band from Verona, Italy and they play Hardrock/Sleaze Rock. The band was founded in 2011 and this year they released their album "White trash attitude". The music is very much inspired by the 80's Sunset Strip scene.

The ten songs are not really highlights of the music scene. A lot of things were heard already earlier and in a better way. But the music is not really bad. The songs have the right attitude eventhough, like mentioned, there is a lot of copying from the good old times. But it's played in an OK way. What actually annoys me the most are the vocals. I think that the band should look for a new singer. From time to time he doesn't hit the tones in the right way and the melody lines sounds sometimes pretty strange. Therefore I can't really recommend this album to listen to. Than it's better to unpack the old Ratt or L.A.Guns records and listen to them. Or go for the Hardcore Superstars while riding with your converable into the sunset.
