Rage Against The Machine bassplayer Tim Commerford is back with a new band called Wakrat. Next to his bass play Commerford also takes the role of the singer while Mathias Wakrat is playing drums and Laurant Grangeon who handles the six-string.
The selftitled debut will contain nine songs that are as political as we know it from Rage Against The Machine. A corrupt system and social justice are just two of the main themes that are building the lyrical base for Wakrat's tunes.
No surprise that the release date is well chosen. It's November 8th, the day of the election of the next US president, when the record is available for digital download. The CD comes into the store a few days later, on November 11th to be precise.
