(8/10) I can't help myself, I like the music of those four crazy guys from Down Under. Mammoth Mammoth play kick-ass garage/stoner rock with howling guitars and great melodies. Those four guys are in music purely for fun. Each of you that has seen the band live on stage knows that they are breathing pure rock'n'roll.

After having released their latest studio album "Volume IV - Hammered Again", Mikey Tucker and his gang have been on tour and used the time for writing some stuff for a new EP. This disc is now locked and loaded, waiting to be released.

"Mammoth Bloody Mammoth" is the title of the disc, not a surprise knowing that bands like Black Sabbath influenced these crazy guys.

Actually the first song, "Taste Your Blood", starts with a downtuned Sabbath-like riff, before the song turns into a typical Mammoth Mammoth garage rock track.

"Drugs" is next. It's a merciless rocker that is simple, to the point and real. "Drugs" means going wild for three minutes and I can see the tune becoming a part of Mammoth Mammoth's upcoming setlists.

"Kick Out the Jams" follows a similar structure before the five minutes long closer takes over. What was a big party so far changes into a creepy wall of guitars. Step by step evil is getting closer and Mammaoth Mammoth goes doom. "Dead Sea" is in slo-mo by having the power of a steamhammer. Better not get into it's way.

Mammoth Mammoth added with "Mammoth Bloody Mommoth" a great new EP to their discography and I hope to see the guys back in Europe pretty soon.
