(8/10) You might like the music of Hatesphere or not, but the willpower of the Danish guys is imposing. The five-piece is already around since the beginning of this century and they have released in the meantime eight records. The guys got quite some attention in the underground but never made to a bigger audience. However, they kept on going with passion and a force of will that let them make a new longplayer. "New Hell" is number nine and the Aarhus-based band serves ten new thrash attacks one this new longplayer.

The history Hatesphere was impacted by a lot of changes in the line-up. Sixstringer Peter Lyse Hansen is the only remaining founding member, while the other positions changed rather quickly and often over the years.

Since 2011 the line-up is fortunately more stable again and I think that this can be heard back on the album. "New Hell" sound more holistic and stands like a rock. The ten songs on this disc represent extremely powerful thrash that isn't made for compromisses. It seems that the guys have been hungry for metal and hammered ten tracks home for this release.

And if I mention Tue Madsen as producer one can be also assured that the album got the right sound. The iconic producer gave "New Hell" a perfect sound that rounds off an solid thrash album that belongs to the best ones the guys have released so far. Keep on going.
